Scott Gessler served as Colorado’s Secretary of State from 2011 to 2015, earning the nickname of the “Honey Badger” of Colorado politics for his unrelenting and fearless efforts to reform our election systems and ensure safe and secure elections. He was a conservative officeholder unafraid to stand up and fight back.
Like many Coloradans, he knows the long-term damage that happens when liberal Democrats completely control state government. They inevitably over-regulate, increase taxes, and try to control people’s lives, hurting our prosperity and our future. Today, he is working in the private sector to reverse the steep decline of Republicans and conservatives in state and local government.
Gessler is recognized as a national expert in elections, and today he practices election law, constitutional law, and commercial litigation. He has testified as an elections expert in federal court, taught election law, and he has received wide recognition for his work. He has worked for the Department of Justice, served in the U.S. Army, and managed small businesses.
